On the afternoon of May 22, 2024, during a business trip with the delegation of inter-departmental and sector representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, mr. Tran Thanh Hai, the principal of Viễn Đông College, and Luong Hoa Binh, a representative from the Vietnam-Germany Study Abroad Language Center, signed a cooperation agreement with the AWO hospital group to send Vietnamese students to continue their studies and paid internships in Thuringia, Germany.

According to this agreement, annually, AWO in Thuringia can receive 30-50 students from Viễn Đông College starting from 2024. The agreement is valid for five years.
