The National Youth Informatics Contest has been organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union since 1995 and assigned to the Center for Development of Science, Technology and Young Talent as the standing organ of the Organizing Committee.

2024, marking the 30th anniversary of the National Youth Informatics Contest, is also the year recording a record number of participants in the regional round with 1,718 contestants, of which 967 contestants belong to the teams of 46 provinces, cities and Youth Unions. 751 free contestants.

After many years of accompanying the National Youth Informatics Contest, on July 6, Southern Regional Round, Vien Dong College continues to be the host unit in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Development Center. In 2024, there will be 46 units organizing provincial and city-level contests, including 20/20 provinces and cities in the Southern region.

After the dissemination of exam regulations, nearly 500 candidates in groups A, B, C1, C2 and D1 in the Southern region will begin moving to the exam room to take their exam. Wishing all candidates to be confident and achieve good results in the preliminary round of the Southern region.
