On the Afternoon of February 27, 2025, Vien Dong College Attended the People’s Committee of Thanh Xuan Ward, District 12 to Implement a Housing Repair Support Program for Policy Beneficiary Families.

The donation ceremony was held in a solemn atmosphere with the presence of:

• Mr. Nguyen Van Trung – Acting Head of the Department of Labor, Invalids & Social Affairs of District 12

• Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Phung – Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Xuan Ward

• Ms. Vo My Thoo Van – Vice Chairwoman of the People’s Committee of Thanh Xuan Ward

• Ms. Phan Thi Le Thu – Vice Rector of Vien Dong College

• Several faculty members from Vien Dong College

• Mr. Chau Quoc Hong – Representative of the sponsored family

During the ceremony, Ms. Phan Thi Le Thu, representing Vien Dong College, presented financial support totaling 80,000,000 VND to assist disadvantaged families in repairing their homes and improving their living conditions.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors of Vien Dong College, as an institution located in District 12, I am honored to be here today to join hands in supporting the construction of gratitude houses for policy beneficiary families in the area. This initiative is part of the gratitude and appreciation activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025), organized by the Department of Labor, Invalids & Social Affairs of District 12.

The tradition of ‘Drinking water, remembering its source’ is a deeply cherished value that we uphold and instill in our students. Providing financial support for housing repairs not only offers families a more secure home but also expresses the profound gratitude of the faculty and students of Vien Dong College towards those who have contributed to the country.
